We’re
living in an unprecedented age of agility, innovation, and
acceleration. School systems are the driving force for
creating learning experiences that make it possible for students to stay
apace with this dynamic world.
Becoming a 21st century school system is an
ongoing journey and will not look the same for every system. The
Luminaries will highlight school systems from across the
country and share the different approaches each system is taking
to provide learning experiences that prepares all students for success
in college, in careers, and in life.
The Luminaries application asks you to share your school system’s
progress on the six key components of a 21st century system: Visionary
Leadership; Caring, Responsive Culture; Empowered Workforce; 21st
Century Learning Design; Thriving Ecosystem; and Measurable Impact and
Stewardship.
